Perfect Mountain Escape!
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Chinar Residency. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the main square. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the lawn area was perfect for our kids to play. Would highly recommend!

Great Value, Great Views
For the price, you cannot beat this hotel. The mountain views from the balcony were stunning, the food was fresh and tasty, and the staff went out of their way to help us plan our treks. The parking space is a huge bonus in McLeodganj!

A Home Away from Home
This is our third visit to Chinar Residency and it never disappoints. The homely atmosphere, clean rooms, and excellent food keep us coming back. Mr. Thakur and his team are incredibly hospitable.

Best Location in McLeodganj
Walking distance to everything — the temple, Bhagsu, the market. The room was spacious with all amenities. The garden with its chinar trees gives it a unique charm that most hotels here lack.

Winter Wonderland Stay
We visited during snowfall and it was magical! The hot water worked perfectly, the room heater kept us warm, and the restaurant served piping hot food. The staff arranged a bonfire for us which was the highlight of our trip.

Kid-Friendly Hotel with Lawn
Finding a hotel with a proper lawn and parking in McLeodganj is rare. Our kids loved playing outside while we relaxed. The family suite was spacious enough for all four of us. Great food too!

Peaceful and Well-Maintained
A clean, quiet hotel with polite staff. The location is convenient but still peaceful. The food quality is good — we especially enjoyed the breakfast parathas and evening momos. Great value overall.

Excellent Hospitality
The warmth of the staff makes this place special. They arranged early check-in for us, helped with local transport, and even packed breakfast when we left early for Triund. True Indian hospitality!

Our Go-To Hotel in McLeodganj
We've been visiting Chinar Residency since 2013 and have seen it improve every year. The new management has added modern amenities while keeping the charm intact. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in McLeodganj.
